Located in the spectacular Hoz de Beteta, right in front of the Cueva de la Ramera, the Casa de la Toba is a unique example of traditional housing in this natural environment. This small house was built by a resident of Beteta who worked at the nearby Los Tilos Hydroelectric Plant. Lacking a vehicle, this house avoided the daily effort of walking up and down to Beteta to sleep, moving here with his entire family. <\/span><\/p>\n

The house, excavated taking advantage of the porous characteristics of the tuff, manages to offer a refuge in perfect harmony with the landscape. Its interior distribution is simple, however it has all the essential rooms of a house adapted to the relief of the stone. Outside is the toilet, and water from the nearby Fuente de la Toba, which was diverted to supply fresh water to the house, giving this residence a functional and authentic air. <\/span><\/p>\n

Surrounded by nature and located in one of the most beautiful corners of the Hoz de Beteta, the Casa de la Toba is a testimony to the ingenuity and adaptation to the conditions of life in an environment as impressive as the Hoz de Beteta.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
