Several unmarked routes for mountain biking through much of Beteta and its surroundings. There are routes of different difficulty depending on the accumulated slope and the kilometers of the route. All of them can be done in both directions and are circular.
Cycling tourism enthusiasts are in luck because the Serranía de Cuenca, our narrow and winding roads will take you to places of great natural beauty, outstanding places in history, protected natural areas or villages where it seems that time has stopped.
Through the Memorial de Luis Ocaña cycling route you can know the northern part of the province of Cuenca in a circular route designed to be done in one day.
Finally, the route of Empty Mountains, is a bikepacking route that passes through municipalities of the Serranía de Cuenca, including Beteta, and other regions of unpopulated Spain. With adaptable distances between 150 and 700 km, it stands out for itstranquility, vast pine forests, mountainous landscapes and historic towns. It is ideal for cyclists seeking disconnection and nature in its purest form.

Family route
route suitable for the whole family that runs along the fertile plain of the Masegar stream until reaching the Laguna de Grande along forest tracks.
Luis Ocaña Memorial
A route through some of the most interesting localities of the Serranía Alta, such as Beteta, Priego and Poyatos, following paved roads that run along the Guadiela and Escabas rivers. It is a demanding but accessible route for cyclists looking to enjoy nature.

Beteta Bike Xtrem. Short version
It runs through spectacular natural landscapes, but in a reduced version, in the municipalities of Beteta, El Tobar, Santa María del Val, Lagunaseca, Masegosa, Valsalobre, Cueva del Hierro and Carrascosa de la Sierra. The itinerary runs along forest tracks and some trails with little technical difficulty.
