This picturesque village surprises the visitor with corners of great beauty such as the Estrecho de Priego, a gorge carved by the Escabas River that offers spectacular views and possibilities for adventure sports. In the heart of the town center is the Plaza de los Condes de Priego, of great elegance and historical value that reflects the stately importance that the town had. Priego is also known for its deep-rooted pottery tradition, whose workshops are still active and allow visitors to learn about this ancient craft, with unique pieces that are part of the soul of the town. In addition to all this, there is interesting religious architecture, such as the church of San Nicolás de Bari and the Convent of San Miguel de las Victorias.
