Heritage

At the foot of the castle of Rochafrida settled the original nucleus of the village, dating from the time of the Iberians. In this walled village since the Middle Ages there are buildings from different periods. Here beats the old Beteta, with interesting samples of popular architecture, such as the Plaza de la Iglesia, the door of the Cava, the Gothic church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and the balconies of the Plaza Mayor. The latter is a space of socialization par excellence, where generation after generation has enjoyed the cultural life of Beteta.

Far from the urban center, there are historical buildings of great interest, such as the Royal Spa of Solán de Cabras, the hermitage of the Virgen de la Rosa and other small vestiges of past civilizations, such as the Iberian forts.
